Our book sale near the Information Desk on the first floor of Founders Memorial Library is currently unavailable. It will be accessible when all areas of Founders Memorial Library are open for users. Please check our homepage for updates.
Although the Friends of the Library sponsored an annual book sale in years past, there is now a perpetual book sale on the first floor of the library near the Information Desk. There are hardcover and paperback books on sale every day while the library is open. Hardcovers are generally priced at $1.00, and paperbacks cost $0.50. We request exact change in cash; circulation desk staff cannot make change. Checks for purchases over $5.00 are also welcome.
Inventory changes frequently. Come back and visit the book sale often!
Book donations are always welcome, any time of the year! Books may be donated by the back doors at the loading dock accessed by a service driveway directly south of Founders Library. The service driveway can be entered from either Normal Road or Carroll Ave. Campus maps can be found here.
The loading dock area is sheltered from rain, snow, and wind. For more information about donating books for the book sale, call (815) 753-1094 during the day or leave a voice message or send an email.
