Hours and Location

The Regional History Center and University Archives (RHCUA) office in Founders Library, Room 400, is open by appointment only during regular library hours in the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. RHCUA collections are open to students, faculty, staff, and community members, and researchers are encouraged to contact us to schedule their research session via phone (815-753-9392) or email. Please also use this contact information for research inquiries and reference requests. RHCUA collections may also be requested during regular business hours in the Rare Books and Special Collections (RBSC) Reading Room (Founders Library, Room 403). Please inquire with personnel at the RBSC front desk.

The RHCUA Office is also available for pre-planned sessions with classes, alumni members, campus and community organizations, and other groups and individuals interested in using the collections or finding out more about them. To pre-schedule a visit to the RHCUA Office contact Brad Wiles (815-753-9392) with at least 48 hours notice.
